Eixample - Barcelona District

Spain is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. One can relax and enjoy when you come here for a vacation. One of the must see places in Spain n Barcelona. Barcelona is filled with beaches, restaurants, pubs and sightseeing places. It almost has everything which a tourist would want. There are also beaches in Barcelona. The night life in Barcelona is amazing. Barcelona is also famous for its rich cultural heritage. They also celebrate a lot of festivals which will be amazing to see. Barcelona is a perfect tourist spot and tourists can choose what they want to do depending on their needs and likes. Here we are going to see more about a city in Barcelona which is known as the Eixample. This is one of the modern cities there which is also a nice place for sightseeing.

This is a very modern city. It has avenues which will have trees lined on either side. The roads will be full of bars, restaurants and pubs. This place is separated from the old city. This city was built during the nineteenth century by an industrialist who was very rich and affluent. It will be grid like extension of the old city. But then this city will be very modern. This city has two main areas which are the Esquera in the left and in the right is the Dreta.

Tourists mostly visit the right hand side and this is also known as the Golden Square. There are a lot of famous buildings here. Some of them are Rambla de Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia. Famous architect like Gaudi was employed to design the houses of the wealthy people of Barcelona. All these houses will be wonderful and stunning. It all belongs to the upper class people. I short the entire area became a very posh one displaying the modern architecture.

There is a Golden Mile which covers the Passeig de Gracia vakantiewoningen spanje. This is a big supermarket. One can see a lot of amazing shops in this place. There is also a special shopping bus which one can take which will take you round the place and all the shops. One can also see the Gaudi landmarks like the Casa Batllo and the Casa Mila.

If you are staying in this place then the Sagrada Familia is very close. It is just a few minutes’ walk from the Passeig of Gracia. One can also take the beach route. That is also a nice route which has good scenic beauty.
